Who The Voters Think Should Portray Richard Castle's Father

Ninty Seven people voted on this poll, making it very close to being a true 'well rounded' survey. As I'm sure you've noticed if you've checked in lately, an overwhelming amount (46%) voted for Christopher Walken in this role. I'm not sure if this is actually due to what people want to see or if the mentions of him in Castle and by Nathan Fillion have swayed the audience. However the people have spoken!

Personally, I would find it a bit strange to have the man who Castle likes to impersonate actually turn out to be his father. It would creep me out a bit. I'd like to see someone that none of us were expecting, really twist it up a bit. Like Susan Sullivan says in her interview, wouldn't it be crazy if Martha turned out to be his father too!

Ok, now I'm just getting a bit off topic. To bring it all back home let's get back to the poll stats. Robert Wagner came in as a strong second with 23% of the vote, Other is in third place with 9%, David Selby came in fourth with 8%, William Katt a close fifth with 7%, and Ken Howard in sixth with only 5%.

I am curious as to if people knew who some of these actors were at all. I know that I had to look them up upon hearing them being thrown out by cast members. I'm also interested to find out who the Other is that people voted for. Don't forget that we have a new discussion forum now and you leave a comment on this and other posts by clicking the reaction button at the bottom.

Thanks for answering our poll and please let us know who those Others were in your mind's eye!
