'For the first time in a long time, I’m at a loss for words. But I suppose if I have to say something about the following exclusive clip from Monday’s season finale of Castle, it’s:wow.
Any fan of the ABC crime drama knows that episodes that find Beckett chasing info about her mother’s murder are always a highlight, and this year’s season finale is no exception. There’s always a new, shocking reveal waiting for the audience when this issue is brought up, and emotionally, it’s always a hot button issue for Castle and Beckett, particularly because Castle knows that Beckett tends to become dangerously obsessed with the case. Earlier this season, her infatuation was accompanied by a mysterious warning given to Castle: She’s getting too close to the answer — or, as Castle puts it in the clip, “If you don’t stop, they will kill you, Kate.”
Torn by his loyalty to his more-than-a-friend and his desire to keep her safe, Castle is forced to lay a lot of cards out on the table in Monday’s episode. And. I. Can’t. Wait.'
