The Final Frontier: Extra On Set Pictures

Last night there wasn't a new episode of Castle on ABC, but the rerun of The Final Frontier. During the airing of this rerun, that got higher ratings than original episodes of Revolution and The Following, Ed Quinn (Captain Max), Kate Sargeant (writer) and Jonathan Frakes (director) tweeted live with Castle fans. In some places the rerun even became a trending topic with #FinalFrontier.

They revealed some interesting facts about the episode, like there was a different killer in the first draft and Nathan Fillion improvised his line "Look at my life. My dreams come true."

Interesting to learn is that Sargeant and Quinn both showed interest in doing more with Nebula 9. This idea was supported by a lot of fans, who would love to watch a Nebula 9 series or web series. Maybe fortune will guide new Nebula 9 material.

Next to the live tweeting, Kate Sargeant was so nice to share new on set pictures from the episode. Take a look at them here:

The moment that I met you, my life became extraordinary. You taught me to be my best self, to look forward to tomorrow's adventures. And when I was vulnerable, you were strong. I love you, Richard Castle. And I want to live my life in the warmth of your smile and the strength of your embrace. I promise you I will love you. I will be your friend and your partner in crime and in life, always. - Kate Beckett The moment we met, my life became extraordinary. You taught me more about myself than I knew there was to learn. You are the joy in my heart. You're the last person I want to see every night when I close my eyes. I love you, Katherine Beckett. I promise to love you, to be your friend, and your partner in crime and life, 'till death do us part, and for the time of our lives. - Richard Castle
