Nominees for the First Annual Castle Fanfic Writers Guild Awards
We sincerely thank all of you who sent us nominations forthe first annual Castle Fanfic Writers Guild Awards. We had an overwhelming response, with over 100 fanfics being nominated in 30 categories, written by nearly 70 different writers! Because of the incredible response, we made the decision to split many of the categories based upon rating (K, K+, T, and M) in order to ensure the greatest number ofnominated fanfics made the final nominee list.Unfortunately, it was still necessary to have some preliminary voting in certain categories due to having more than five nominees in those categories.
Please note: if you do not see a fanfic in the below list that you know you nominated, its omission could be due to any number of factors, including: It wasn’t eligible (incomplete, not published in 2013, there were two fanfics in the same category by the same writer), the writer chose not to participate and their nominations were withdrawn, it was in a category in which there were more than five nominees and it was not chosen by the panel of voters for the final nominee list.
We encourage you to read and review as many of thenominated fanfics as you can. Winners will be announced on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
We also ask all writers to go to 12Precinct (http://12thprecinct.blogspot.com/Best reviewer vote) and cast your vote for favorite reviewer.
