12th Precinct Castle Valentine's Day FanFic Competition

 After our highly successful 12th Precinct Castle Halloween FanFic Competition and 12th Precinct Christmas Competition, we are glad to present our first 12th Precinct Castle Valentine's Day FanFic Competition!

The new year just started, but Valentine's Day isn't that far away anymore. We hope that now the season will continue after a hiatus of 5 weeks, you are all inspired to write some romantic fanfiction about your favorite Castle characters.

In comparison with our Christmas Competition, we didn't change the rules much, but read them here before you grab your pen or laptop and start your story:

- Stories have to be written originally for this competition

- Each author is allowed to send in only one story

- The story should include at least one of the Castle characters

- The story should be about Valentine's Day

- All genres are accepted, so you don't necessarily have to write a romantic story

- No M-rated stories

- The maximum word count shall be 3500 words

- Collaborations are allowed

- Judges cannot compete

- Contributors to the 12th Precinct site cannot compete

- The Deadline for sending in your stories is Friday, February 8th 2013, 10PM Eastern Time

- The results of the judges vote will be announce at 12thprecinct.blogspot.com after the judges have made their decision on February 12th

- The public vote will start on February 8th, as soon as all stories are posted

- Authors who send in stories agree that 12thprecinct.blogspot.com can publish their stories on their site and on www.fanfiction.net, under the TwelfthPrecinct account

- Authors who send in stories agree that they will do everything possible to make sure the judges can't find out who wrote which story. (No publishing on other sites, until the winner of the competition is announced on this site)

- There is a prize for the winner of the judges competition. Angie (@dtrekker) will make a custom original artwork for the winners of the competition


To send us your story please add "TwelfthPrecinct" to your DocX at fanfiction.net and send us an email at CastleCompetition12thp@gmail.comletting us know you did. We will add you too, so we can publish the story directly from there.


Don't forget to mention your name, pen-name, Twitter-name, the title of your story, the word count, the genre and the rating in the mail you send us.

    Nice job!!!!!, putting spoilers at the top of the page for info on the Valentines FanFic .... thank you oh so much had avoided knowing anything about the up coming episodes until now.

    Idiots!
